Technical Writer
Job Summary
Working closely with the Development & Research Departments, you will take responsibility for writing and editing technical documentation and manuals for C4IP software and hardware products. As you Master the use of our software, you must individually develop & update online HTML Help, Product & Training Documentation that is well written, presented, and communicates efficiently to the end-user. When creating, updating and enhancing the documentation, the virtuoso technical writer will adhere to format, content and style guidelines, giving consideration to usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality.
Qualifications
With excellent organization, communication and writing styles the ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and be fluent in the English language (fluency in dutch is a plus but not required). This position requires a highly motivated individual who is able to grasp complex software and learn quickly. It also requires the ability to work within tight deadlines.
HTML and Technical Writing experience is required. Experience with Imaging Software (Corel Draw, Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks, or Paint Shop Pro) for screen capturing is essential. Sample work will be requested at interview. A sample of prior work should be presented at interview.
Compensation
Salary commensurate with experience.
