The MG-2000 is able to provide stability to DVB streams that are transported over the internet.The unit is also equipped with military grade
encryption facilities for secure connections over public IP Networks.
This unit acts as a Multicast Gateway for professional video connections all over the world.The MG-2000 is designed to connect to the DMC (Digital Media Cloud) and decrypts the secure stream. After decrypting, it is able to re-transmit the signal into a local network.
The following parameters are also configurable within the DVB compliant transport stream:
- Multicast or unicast address and port
- PID Modification - Buffering
- Multiplexing multiple streams into one ASI stream
- Set NULL packet levels, to tweak the stream to external multiplexers
- Local transport streaming
The MG-2000 is able to handle a wide range of DVB functions to ensure flexible integration for head-end stations.
The unit is also able to send notifications via email regarding any problems with the connection or stream.
This small 1-U system can be installed easily into any data center or engineering room with an optional 19" rack mount.
