When you want to convert your Central Antenna Installation (CAI) to an digital platform, the RE-4000 can do the job. This encoder uses the latest compression technology that converts any analogue cable signal to an H.264 AVC video and AAC audio stream. Together with our Pyxis decoder series, you can convert your analogue cable system to an IP based video network The RE-4000 supports HTTP, RTSP, RTP unicast and our in house designed LLTP (Low latency Transport Protocol).

With this encoder solution it is also possible to transcode an analogue Cable-TV signal and transport it to any location in the world via the internet. In this way low cost video links can be set up, for large TV channel distribution systems. Through internal web interface you are able to control, monitor and setup the unit from distant locations. For monitoring purposes it is also possible to get an SMTP or E-mail option, to seamlessly connect the encoder to your system management.

To ensure security, the RE-4000 has the option to act as a VPN server. Anything or anybody that tries to connect with the unit needs to have a VPN client with the right username and password; this way of security makes sure that only you are using the video feed. C4IP has the world's first DMC (Digital Media Center), with this DMC we can manage and control your video links. When you need 24/7 monitoring on your link without investing in employees, C4IP can do that for you. This way we can also setup temporarily links and create large distribution system. C4IP can provide you with professional IP links to the DMC that is rated for 99, 9% uptime

When you need a wireless, Locale or International media link; C4IP provides the solution that delivers the Broadcast quality and stability needed. Our wide range of products, any solution is at hand for your application. Through almost any IP based connection C4IP is able to convert this link to a professional transport platform.

The RE-4000 is equipped with a Cable-TV receiver input. With this input you can select the frequency of the TV channel that needs to be transported. With two Gigabit Ethernet ports for dedicated VPN connections, you can setup an secure video link over the internet. Two other Ethernet ports can be configured for LAN usage and stream the signal to multiple receivers or computers.

Through an internal web interface you are able to control, monitor and setup the unit as you want. The RE-4000 supports RTP multicast, reducing bandwidth on your local network and is able to stream to a large amount of receivers.

When you want to create your own IPTV bouquet of channels, the RE-4000 is the fundament for encoding of channels. If you want to show your content live to any location in the world, the unit can be configured with our LLTP (Low Latency Transport Protocol). In this way it is possible to create a video link with delays between 0.5 and 1.0 seconds (depending on the network).
